Yercaud - Awesome place to see

Yercaud is a beautiful hill station near Salem ,Tamil Nadu(India). It is at an altitude of 1,500 metres (4,920 feet) from mean sea level. The town gets its name from the lake located at its center - in Tamil "Yeri" means "lake" and "Kaadu" means "forest".
Its not so known hill station ... but that is what makes it great for peace lovers. Its not so commercialized and so there's much of natural and beauty than other hill stations.

we were nearly 20 to 25 guys in a need for fun because its supposed to be annual outing... we guys started at 9 PM from our chennai and we reached salem by 5.30 next morning. From salem frequent buses are available to yercaud at interval of every 1 hour... so its not a problem once you reach salem. we started from salem by 7.. after just 15-20 mins, the real journey started. we were now going uphill in the van and this is really one of best parts i feel when you go to a hill station... the scenery outside was awesome.. yea but for this you must sit on the left side seats of bus, otherwise you will miss most of this part and end up looking only at the mountain walls.I took couple of snapshots with the cellphone cam.

Company itself arranged accomodation and they chosed to saty in Hotel Grand Palace. Nice hotel with nice scenaries. There are very few hotels here, yeah but mostly no problem of accomodation as theres not much of rush over here. But still if you dont want to take any risk then better contact some hotel and make the bookings before you go.

Actually we four guys formed as group and roamed around Yercaud day/night. The climate was awesome and you don't feel hot in any point of day. We (Myself,Sathish,Rakesh and of course saran) didn't join with other group where they went to Boating/Killiyur falls. In first day, we enjoyed a lot and it was awesome being spent time with new folks of my team playing chess/TT/Carrom.

Early next morning we got ready to go. It was a very cold morning and all of us were excited to see the falls. The road to falls was good up to a point. At a specific point there was a board that pointed in a direction that said waterfalls. Instead of looking at the direction clearly we continued on our way.We made our way back up to the point where the board was present and looked at the direction. The board was pointing in a direction where there was no road!!!!!!

Just a small path, enough for one person to tread at a time. We continued down that path only to find out that it was getting steeper. It was also tough to walk on the mud. At a half way point, we all sat down and discussed about it and finally we came to a decision that we would reach the waterfalls no matter what it takes. The path got scarier as there were no barricades around and if slipped, it would mean the end of our lives. Slowly and carefully we down that gruesome path and reached the waterfalls. The water falls was seriously an amazing sight to see.

After the refreshing bath(Saran/sathish/rakesh knows about it very well :):) ) it was time for us to go back. Again, with great difficulty we got back and we were tired as hell after that trek.

Totally,This was a really exciting trip and a great adventure...

Superstar's magic in Endhiran

Enthiran is an entertainment package which gives its viewers a tour throughout an imaginative world and once the movie gets over the feeling that crosses the mind is "wow!" This movie is far far away from the real world and deals with facts which seems real only in our imaginations. People who are looking for a sensational, meaty plot movie can avoid it because this movie is completely an entertaining science-fiction movie filled with action.

The first part of the movie is very interesting with all its special effects. However, the second half of the flick looks a bit stretched. But, even if the plot seems unrealistic, who cares when superstar Rajinikanth is the lead star. Rajinikanth rules the audience’s minds in this movie by playing a double role. His one role involves Dr. Vasi who is the creator of a robot, Chitti and the role of Chitti is also played by Rajinikanth. Chitti is a machine but he has been infused with human emotions by his creator (which turns out to be a big mistake).

The problem starts when the beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who plays the role of Dr. Vasi’s girlfriend Sana comes in picture. Chitti, the robot who has been gifted with man-like emotions by his master falls in love with Sana. But, Sana only feels that Chitti is nothing but a toy and that is when the flick takes a twist.

Chitti becomes uncontrolled as he wants to live the life of a human and so chaos follows after that with the mix and match of Rajnikanth, machine powers and movie masala sprinkled over it, the movie becomes very entertaining.

Some of the songs of the flick are quite good which includes Machu Picchu with the location and picturisation of the song being very appealing. There are so many things in the movie that comes one after another that at one point it becomes tiring. The movie runs with a high pace with some stunning special effects which is said to have been put in by the technicians who even worked for the famous Jurassic Park.

But, one thing is for sure when you leave the movie hall Chitti’s thought will follow because he is just too appealing with some flashy clothes, excellent special effects and also awesome makeup. And, what else is expected when Chitti is none other than Rajnikanth because this superstar really makes a mark of himself in every project he puts his hand on.

Verdict: Must watch, if you are looking for an entertaining flick with famous Rajnikanth in it!
